Team Leadership + Community Leadership = S0cial Change In Action

Spire runs workshops and programs designed to develop self, team and community leadership skills enabling participants to create positive change in the community. Spire's programs are underpinned by the Social Change Model of Leadership development (SCM) which views leadership as a collaborative, values-based process that results in positive social change. For more information about the SCM click here.

The full Spire leadership program involves high school students putting theory into practice through working in teams on real-life projects with Non-Profit Organisations helping to solve a real problem. The program includes (28 hours over 4 full days) of workshop skills training to support the learning needed to commence the project, plus student teams are provided with ongoing support with a Mentor. The program concludes with a small ceremony where students will receive a certificate, present their solutions to their Non Profit Organisation and hear from inspirational community leaders.

Spire can also run short 2-hour, half-day and full-day workshops to provide a high level  experience of the Social Change Model of leadership development. Please contact us below for further information.
